TortaPatrol ("we," "us") operates a food truck discovery platform. This policy explains what information we collect from customers and truck owners, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Customers: name, email, phone (optional), favorited trucks, and notification preferences.
• Truck owners: business name, contact email/phone, menu and location data, and GPS coordinates submitted when going live.
• Location data: truck GPS coordinates are collected only when a truck owner actively taps "Go Live," and only while that session is active.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to display live truck locations, send opt-in notifications about favorited trucks, and improve the discovery experience. We do not sell customer or truck data to third parties.

Notifications

Notifications are rate-limited (30-minute cooldown, 2 per day per truck) and only sent to customers who have opted in. See our Notification Policy for details.

Data Retention

Truck live-location data is automatically cleared after a truck goes offline or after 8 hours of inactivity, whichever comes first.

Your Choices

Customers can update notification preferences or delete favorites at any time from their account settings. Truck owners can go offline at any time, stopping location sharing immediately.
